Lake cabin rental market in Minnesota

We are the state of over 10,000 lakes and have more land on water than the entire west coast. So, it is no surprise that so many in Minnesota spend a portion of their summer on a lake. These wonderful moments of family time and recreation become lifelong memories. Those times my family spent time at the lake are those that I remember the most and that continues even now with my family and friends when we enjoy the cabin and lake experience. This experience is not exclusive to Minnesota but with all our lakes it offers the opportunity unlike any where else in the United States.

What are some rental options?

You have a variety of options in Minnesota for lake cabin rental. Here are the main ones.

• You can rent a cabin in a resort like Grand Lodge or Breezy Point and have all the facilities in the community. The benefit is everything is there for you, and you do not have to cook a meal. The negative is that there are so many people around and you lose the intimate family event atmosphere.
• You can rent a cabin online in places like vrbo.com and have a home or cabin experience on a wonderful lake. You can cook and enjoy it as a family or group event. This is your most intimate experience and normally the cabin is much nicer than you will find in a resort.
