The History of New Brighton

New Brighton is in Ramsey County, Minnesota. New Brighton is part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. New Brighton is a second-ring suburb. The Mdewakanton Dakota tribes lived in the area around New Brighton’s marshy lakes. Immigrants from Britain and France settled in the area in 1858 with a general store, a school and mission church. Railroads expanded the into the area. Named after Brighton Massachusetts.

To summarize, I have found New Brighton to be an extremely popular city. Importantly, it features a wonderful school system, a convenient location, short commute times and is highly rated in many categories. It is a high rated city with an A rating. In short, I strongly suggest considering New Brighton if you are planning on moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
