After the treaty of Traverse des Sioux in 1851 settlers from Ireland and Germany quickly staked claims. Then the French and English settlers built their homes along the Mississippi River. In 1965 it became Inver Grove Heights as we know it today.

In short, I strongly suggest considering Inver Grove Heights if you are planning on moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
