The History of Eagan
Eagan is in Dakota County, Minnesota. The city is south of St. Paul and lies on the bank of the Minnesota River. Which flows into the Mississippi River. Eagan is the 11th largest city in the metro area and is part of Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Eagan began as an Irish farming community and was know as the “Onion Capital of the United States”. Now it is popular place to live because the proximity to St. Paul, the airport and Minneapolis. It has a good number of large employers. They include Thomson Reuters, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota, United States Postal Service, UPS, Ecolab, Coca-Cola, and the Viking football team who just moved their training facility there.

My conclusion
To summarize, I have found Eagan to be a popular city. Importantly, it features parks and trail systems, a very convenient location, and is highly rated in many categories. In short, I strongly suggest considering Eagan if you are planning on moving to the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
